For me, it helped to reinforce my view of self. I believe that I only responsible for the surface of myself. Self is formed by our physiology and environment. This means that the special abilities that a person may possess they aren't completely responsible for. We are responsible to sharpen our tools but we are forced to use the tools we are given, and some tools have more innate leverage than others. As well, most times the best tools breakdown faster, leaving only the simple tools. I'm still trying to flesh this concept, but now I'm distracted.

i was so enthralled by that notion. i do have a certain fraility tied to my artistic side. if i take too much credit for my work, which is clearly inspired by the world created before me, i become too bogged.
and if i'm taking too much credit, when i'm judged or ignored i take it personal.
love her theory.
my brother didn't.
giggles....?? 'splain yourself.

A Gastby party sounds awesome. It sounds like an excellent excuse to get out of my dungeon level apartment. I'm going to wear a suit jacket with leather patches on the elbows, a pipe, a monocle, and grow a curly stach... I've got dibs on the intellectual rich guy. Well, that is, if I can find that stuff some place around here.

I've been amazingly underwhelmed by work, which is my only mandatory demand (a.k.a. no school). I can understand the engrossing effects of school, because I still remember the gooey minded feeling after a day of reading and school. Actually I have gotten that feeling many times recently as a result of my reading all day, which is great for an impulsive dude like me.

When could we all get together?

I like what you said about how people need to know that there is something better on the horizon. I wouldn't however agree that it therefore takes away the ability of Communism the idea to work. further more, I would say that this is exactly why Capitalism is failing us.

we have a system where in order to acquire real wealth you need such things as, an education that of course costs a ton, a certain level of intelligence, which we don't all have unfortunately, and of course it helps to know the right people--I could go on and on...

the problem is, if you want to be a business owner these days you need to have the most unique idea, or a mass of wealth, else you will be crushed by the corporation.

the lovely corporation that gives us millions of jobs, right? I mean we love jobs! unemployment is bad!

but the corporations are like candy mountain. once you get there two baby, voice uniformed, walmart managers harvest your organs.

there is no such thing as a free market economy with our current system. I say we hit the reset button, and this time, I make the rules.

from the beginning of credit being made widely available it fucked our financial system. which at that time was agriculture. we just talked about this in history class. Farmers took out loans so they could expand, and for almost all cases it created either large imposing debt, or the means for wasted crops...

what can we do?
